I am a 2020 graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania with a BFA in Communication Design. I have a passion for illustration but also a high interest in graphic design and advertising. I strive to learn as much as I can about the various facets of design and illustration in order to bring new elements to my work.
My passion for illustration manifested at a young age. Often found making a mess with paint and ink, I soon found myself drawn to the art room and gaining a passion for learning new artistic techniques. After being admitted to the arts program in high school, my teacher and mentor helped me to begin my journey into digital art and graphic design. I found myself fascinated by the possibilities and decided that I would stive to make art my career.
Having an interest in many styles and techniques has driven me to explore many artistic avenues. Printmaking, metal working, digital design, and more. I feel that having a burning hunger to learn and try new ideas is integral to the making of meaningful and interesting artwork as well as keeping an open view of the world. This thinking has helped me significantly in the pursuit of my profession.
